Delicious food on the river with a gorgeous view.

Very good fried catfish platter with slaw, potato, hush puppies. Christy was pleasant and attentive server. Recommend this restaurant for catfish. My friend ordered frog legs and loved them.

Great venue, terrific setting on the river. Catfish was very good (not "fishy" at all), as were the sides. This is one of those hole-in-wall finds you'll want to try.

Not a fancy place, but perfectly prepared catfish. I had the fingerlings & catfish filet combo. Really top notch hush puppies and coleslaw. Save room for dessert. My table shared the key lime pie (perfectly tart), the coconut cake (moist cake and meringue frosting), and buttermilk pie (perfect sweetness and great crust).Sit outside, if you can.

If you want the best catfish around you have to go to riverside catfish house!!! The staff is very friendly and courteous and the view of the river is beautiful!!! Good prices and great catfish!!!

Fish was very chewy this week, it was very good the last time we were there!

The food is absolutely stellar. However, their hours appear to be more suggestions. Three separate occasions I've come in to eat after kayaking on the river and gotten there around 7:40 or so only to find the place closed. Again - food is really good but don't waste your time if you're gonna be there within about 45 minutes of their posted close time. Which stinks because if that happens to you there are no other close by options.

Absolutely, positively, the best! Fantastic food, big portions, and good service. I suggest dining outside during good weather. Very peaceful and calm atmosphere with a welcoming staff. You will not be disappointed!

Great little place that's been around since the 60s. I had my first go at it today after a few years of wanting to swing by. The patio on the river is perfect, the food is great, and Nancy was a great host and server. I'll definitely be back when I'm craving a great fried, southern comfort, meal. All you can eat too, but the fillets are big. Be warned! Haha .

Service was excellent the food was delicious and the view is unforgettable. We ate outside on the back deck with our puppy it was perfect .

It was a long drive from Chattanooga TN but we got seated right away. Service was good, food was excellent and very quick. The view of the Tennessee River was beautiful. Yes you can eat outside and watch the river pass by. It is really beautiful in the fall with all the trees showing off their colors. They are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner. Desert s are very good. Key lime pie and coconut cake were the choices for this week. Good place for a whole gang to enjoy the food and each other's company.

The food was great and the service was exceptional!!! Make sure you get the all-you-can-eat catfish filets. Very big filets without the fishy taste!! Awesome place and reasonable prices!

We sat on the balcony and ate a nice lunch. It was cafe style, very friendly and the TN river is always great.

Crispy Catfish...can't beat it. Beautiful scenery, friendly service and delicious food. Loved it! Very thankful for friends that introduced us to it.

We’ve been several times. It’s a nice drive from Chattanooga and the place is quiet without loud music so you can easily talk and enjoy your conversation. Wait staff, Nancy was excellent - in the background, checking on drinks, etc. Food came out fresh and hot. Simple menu, most things are fried. Everything was delicious.

The grilled shrimp was outstanding! Our waitress was friendly, checked on us several times, and catered to all of our needs!

If you are looking for the finest catfish you have ever tasted? LOOK NO FURTHER!!! This is the place... I've been to other eateries that claim " Best in the south " They lied. Or, if you are wanting to take a leisurely Sunday drive? Hit hwy 41 at Tiftonia and enjoy the curving scenic route to the RCH. Whether inside watching the game on the big screen or relaxing on the raised deck overlooking the mighty Tennessee River. Your sure to have a great time. Excellent service is an added bonus. All you can eat servings or an appetizer will please the tasters for sure. If your not into the fish, have a burger or any of the many none swimming selections. Take the day. Fire up the motorcycles, or drop the top. You're going to have a wonder time. We will be back often after this exciting find.

The food at this place is outstanding! They could use a little step up on things like decor and atmosphere. A jukebox would do wonders for this place. Amazing view of the river though. Definitely worth stopping in if you like fried catfish bites!!!

I love this restaurant! Fried catfish is fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable and the food incomparable. I highly recommend it and take out of town guests here on occasion. Check on their open times as they aren't open all week long. Mainly on the weekends. Their catfish is so good I haven't tried anything else although I should.

To start, Nancy was our waitress for the night, she was amazing. Very friendly and my must have "clean" place to eat. The food was great and priced economically. I would tell everyone about this place.. to the owner and staff! Awesome job thank you for a memorable evening.

Stopped to eat the catfish with some friends on my recommendation. Summer was our waitress for Mother’s Day. Food and service was outstanding. Summer was very attentive and helpful. Food was great as usual. Everyone was happy with the choice. The view was outstanding on the deck. I would highly recommend eating here

Food is deeeeelicious. You've never tasted catfish so light and filling. The flavor is remarkable and the atmosphere is very pleasant. 😘

It's good if you don't have any dietary restrictions. Not so good if you need keto or diabetic friendly foods.

We've been here several times in the past, and the food had always been great. I'm sorry to say today's experience wasn't nearly as good.They changed from a cornmeal batter to something resembling a tempura batter, and the change isn't good at all. The fish was no longer light and flaky, but was heavy and somewhat mushy. It was also very greasy, which it never was before. There was also a funny taste to it, and this seemed to be in everything that had been fried. I suspect the oil was old and in need of replacement.The waitress told us they had a new chef, which might be the problem. Whatever the problem, if this is the new normal, I doubt we'll be back.

All you can eat catfish is great and filling. I got the boneless catfish with hushpuppies, fries and slaw. Yum! I love catfish anyway. Riverside Catfish House worth going because I'll be back soon.

Always love to eat at the Riverside Catfish House. The reataurant is located on the Tennessee River. The fish is fried golden brown. The fish, I was told comes from catfish farms. There are other fish selections on the menu ! And, if not a fish fan, other selections are on the menu

Great food, gorgeous atmosphere. The deck area was warm but the view and the breeze made it worth it. That crispy fish....mmmmhmmmm.
